In Alberta, tank installations outside of the oil and gas industry are governed by the National Fire Code (Part 4), as administered by the Alberta Safety Codes Council. Vision Integrity provides the engineering expertise and stamped documentation required to ensure these systems are designed, approved, and constructed in full compliance.

Regulatory Knowledge and Experience

Vision’s engineers have extensive experience applying the National Fire Code, Part 4, to storage tank systems in Alberta. Prior to June 8, 2020, this work was overseen by the Petroleum Tank Management Association of Alberta (PTMAA). Today, responsibility lies with the Alberta Safety Codes Council, and our team has successfully guided clients through this regulatory transition. We know the process, the authorities, and the documentation required to achieve approvals.
